BEKES is a home for bold West African flavour in Doha — a women-owned restaurant that brings authentic Nigerian cuisine right into the heart of The Pearl.
Walk in and you'll immediately feel it: a warm, lively space rooted in African heritage, with marble tables, velvet chairs, a purple neon heartbeat, and music that keeps the evening moving.
For Nigerians in Qatar, we're a familiar taste of home — a reminder of the flavours and traditions you grew up with. For everyone else, we're a friendly gateway into dishes that are comforting and exciting at once. The aromas that greet you at the door say the rest.
Everything we serve is home-made and halal — from smoky party jollof to slow-simmered soups, fresh grilled suya and the sweet, fluffy puff puff that arrives before your meal.
What began as one much-loved dining room has grown into two locations in Doha — the original BEKES Pearl and Bekes Express on Museum Street — so even more of the city can taste real jollof and genuine Naija hospitality.
